Balsam Mist Lodge is a private two bedroom cabin with beautiful mountain views. The main floor features a wood burning fireplace in the living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and dining table. Walk out to the wrap around porch to enjoy the hot tub, rocking chairs, and picnic table overlooking the Smoky Mountains. Play a game of pool in the upstairs loft. The main floor bedroom has a king bed and private full bathroom. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room and a set of twin bunk beds in the loft for extra sleeping areas. The primary bedroom upstairs features a king bed, private full bathroom, and a private balcony with rocking chairs. The cabin is equipped with a washer/dryer, cable TV, Wi-Fi, charcoal grill, and firewood. Enjoy a peaceful and private stay at Balsam Mist Lodge.

Staff was great. Cabin was amazing. Close enough to get to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, or Cades Cove but still be in the mountain atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Little Valley Mountain Resort! The management did a great job of anticipating our every need. Upon arrival, everything was organized into an envelope, including directions to the nearest grocery stores which was a major concern for us as we wanted to get groceries right away. The cabin smelled like wood and was very clean. The hot tub was spotless and the perfect temperature. The bed was super comfy and cute. The size of the cabin was a little bit smaller than we thought, but honestly, that wasn't an issue at all for us. We brought our two dogs (they are both large breeds) and their crates and there was plenty of room for them. Everything you need is provided - the first night we cooked a frozen pizza as it was a bit late when we had dinner and sure enough there was a pizza pan and a pizza cutter! We used the charcoal grill nearly every night after that - it was a Weber charcoal grill and worked superbly for our needs. The decor in the cabin was darling. So much to look at! And there were books and games provided, including books on local hikes and waterfalls. So appreciative of the little details like that. The A/C worked great and we had plenty of hot water for showers and dishes. This was honestly one of the best vacations I've ever had. We were 30 minutes from every hike we wanted to go on in the Smoky Mountain National Park and hitting the hot tub after our hikes was perfect. Highly recommend going tubing with the River Rat folks - but wear really solid water shoes or sneakers as the rocks are rough on the feet. Thank you LVMR for a fabulous time!

We have been staying at Little Valley for 20 years now. We are never disappointed. Cabins are always in great condition, and the staff is always friendly. Over the years we have stayed at other resorts, only to be disappointed with either location or condition and wishing we would have just stuck with Little Valley. To watch them continue to grow and add amenities while still maintaining their small business approach and connections has been a pleasure. We will continue to stay at Little Valley for many years.
