Three level log cabin, overlooking the ponds. The upstairs loft bedroom has a king bed and TV. The main level of the cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living room with a wood burning fireplace, and a full bathroom. The bottom level features the primary suite with a king bed, electric fireplace and full bathroom. The private back deck features a hot tub, rocking chairs, an electric grill, and an additional sundeck with stairs that go out towards the pond. The cabin is equipped with a washer/dryer, cable TV, Wi-Fi, and firewood. Morning Mist is walking distance to our resort amenities - outdoor pool, fishing ponds, mini-golf, tennis, etc.

We had an amazing stay at this cozy, comfortable cabin - it truly felt like home. Everything was perfect and the views off the decks were absolutely stunning - such a peaceful and picturesque backdrop to relax and unwind after a long day of hiking. Our dog had the best time too!

We loved our stay! We did quite a bit of driving around in the Smokey Mountains and checked out other places... but I didn't see anything that made me wish I booked elsewhere. If we visit this region again, we would definitely stay at Little Valley Mountain resort.
One recommendation for future guests that never been there - check out the resort map ahead of time and familiarize yourself with your cabin's location. We purposefully chose a cabin close to the fishing pond and pool. Beautiful view and the walking distance was perfect for my 12 year old son who likes to wonder. There should be a cabin on the property that could accommodate a variety of preferences.
We loved that we felt isolated in the mountains but still a short drive to all the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge Island, Gatlinburg, the caverns, and Dollywood!

We have stayed at this resort prior and staff is great.
We did get a call from Holly on our way there saying the cabin we reserved had an issue and would not be available for our stay. Holly worked with us to select another option. She was very sweet.
Morning Mist is a nice cozy cabin more for a couple with a smaller main floor space.
The kitchen is small but perfect for us. The living room furniture was new.2 full bathrooms ,one on main floor and downstairs in main bedroom. Hot tub is for 2. Outdoor space is on 2 levels and nice.
There is a loft with king bed and then the downstairs bedroom is a real oasis.Very spacious with a electric fireplace, king size bed, the doors open onto outdoor space, seperate bathroom and a new walkin shower( not our favorite) Laundry is downstairs in the closet.This cabin would be great if you had older kids to use the loft upstairs and then mom & dad's private space downstairs.
The reason I gave 4 stars is because the steps leading to master bedroom are VERY steep and there are no handrails! I've had a recent knee injury so not ideal, in the end I only went downstairs at night as to not have to go up & down. My husband without a knee injury not a fan of the no rails either. Something to keep in mind if anyone has any mobility issues.
Last thing if you love Extra Extra Firm mattress these are the beds for you!
